Residing between Toronto and Bali, writer and artist, Jules’ intuitive abstract minimalist work is layered and torn, much like her world, living wholly in two places.  Her pieces pay tribute to her island home through her choice of materials, to her Canadian home through her palette, to a love of patchwork quilts, and to the butterfly inlay joinery of the large farm table that she traced her fingers across during many a meal growing up.
